That’s why we share our knowledge of property, so that people feel protected in theirs.

About us

We are Aaron and Emma, of McCluskey Chartered Surveyors, and we are a small family-owned, family-run business specialising in residential and commercial surveys, as well as design and party wall services. All our surveys are bespoke and tailored to meet the individual needs of our clients.

We strive to create inclusive environments so that our team always feel comfortable sharing their ideas and concerns with us. We value education and recognise the importance of regular CPD, aiming to continually evolve to meet the needs of our clients and the communities we serve. We support our team to build flexible and creative working environments which lead to the highest level of support for our clients.

Where we work

Based in the South Hams, Devon, we primarily work in the Torbay, Teignbridge, Dartmoor, Exeter, and Plymouth areas. We aim to work further afield once we have surveyors available in other areas. If you are out of area but still interested, please continue to get in touch.

Who we work with

We are keen to hear from RICS Building or Residential Surveyors with a range of backgrounds and experience. We trust our surveyors to work in close partnership with our clients and provide safe and practical solutions. As a socially- and environmentally-responsible business, we are particularly keen to hear from surveyors who share our values of learning, inclusion, sustainability, and trust. Although you will need to have use of your own vehicle, we will supply all equipment requirements, cover the cost of your annual RICS fees, and provide travel expenses.

About the role

You will be home-based, and able to work flexibly to fit in with your other commitments. All we ask is that work is completed in accordance with our Standard Operating Principles.

Your working hours can be designed to suit your lifestyle. We are fortunate to live and work in a beautiful part of the country, and believe our team should benefit from the incredible natural surroundings. We therefore encourage flexible working whereby a survey on Dartmoor or by the coast can be followed with some time outdoors for rest and reflection.

We believe that you can’t do good work, if work is all you do.
